In the spring of 2019, I took many daytrips to Tybee Island, GA to document the vacation offseason. Images of peace, light, stillness, and those without the presence of people fascinated me the most. Cool temperatures assisted me as I traversed the island top to bottom, and side to side (it’s only 3.19 mi² in size).
When quarantine hit in March 2020, I took a trip on Saint Patrick’s Day in hopes to add to this body of work. Even though the city canceled the scheduled parade, and everyone was supposed to be home, all I could find were people.
